Primary Responsibilities:
* Define game server and backend requirements for our products
* Manage development and implementation of the software, together with inhouse and offshore developers
* Profile, benchmark and load test the applications
* Constantly optimize the platform with creative ideas
Required skills and experience:
* You are a very versatile professional: You have a creative mindset, good logical and analytical capabilities, good soft skills and you think from a user’s point of view.
* 2+ years of experience as a developer, software consultant or technical product manager
* Strong knowledge of databases (esp. mySQL) , APIs (esp. REST), and software architecture
* Experience with high volume applications and/or game servers for flash based games is a big plus
* Experience with social network APIs a big plus
* Well organized under pressure and capable of handling multiple tasks
* Advanced English language skills
